Shadow Rider

Have been going through some changes in my old age. Turned 65 last year (naturally, 66 this Feb). I think I am going through Mental-Pause.  Mid-Life-Crisis.. All that stuff...
I not only bought a gun for the first time in forty years, I just bought a motorcycle. Yep! 15 year old motorcycle. 1995 Shadow VT1100cc. Jet Black and lots of chrome.  Needs little bit of repairs but I got it for $500.00. Pretty excited about it. I haven't ridden in forty years. I love it!!!!!!!
Got to spend $400.00 in regulator, turn signals, tune-up, oil change, straighten the sissy bar I bent when I fell.  Yeah!  I fell (twice now) but I am okay and the bike is okay. Droped a few Harley's in my days as a cop (West Palm Beach PD Motor Department 1966  "MC-56") Got a picture of me on her and will post it (if I can find it).
This $500.00 bike has cost me another $500.00 just in licenses and tags.  Title transfer and such was $185.00 and the Endorsement for the MC/DL is at $210.00 class for two days. Not complaining but that seems like too much money to get a bike on the road.
It has been so Freqqing cold here in North Florida that has made it very difficult to ride. We were in the 20's last night and tonight also. We should get a little break soon with nice riding weather. I want to ride south to my son's (Orlando) and then to West Palm Beach (old stomping grounds). It will be somewhat warmer down there. If not I will go further south. Just takin' a ride.
Bought some new stuff. DooRag, Gloves, Vest Extender Chains, Helmet, Boots, Stereo System, Battery, Sun Glasses (Mirrored), Shirts with Logos. One thing after another. Not all this is necessary, but it is needed

Gun-Fire

Well.  I bought myself a handgun. Haven't owned a gun in 30 years. Not since the time I was a cop. I have had rifles and such, but no handguns..
As you can see from the video I post just prior to this, I have tried it out and it is a pretty nice little 9mm.
If you listen as I walk back to the camera there is gunfire in the back-ground.. Retorts to my shooting..
